Shaker pint draft at The Classics bad inside of Hotel Kansas City, in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is clear copper auburn with a foamy off white head. The aroma is herbal clove caramel malt. The taste is bright herbal straw, grass, clove and malt soft sweetness. The palate is medium to light bodied with natural carbonation, and a clear herbal malt finish. Solid, easy drinking beer.

Shaker pint draft at Lew's in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a foamy half inch pure white head. The aroma is wheat grain, coriander and soft citrus peel. Nice traditional Wit nose. The taste is the wheat, coriander and lemon citrus of the nose, along with a bit of dirty earth towards the back. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, soft carbonation and a pleasant mineral, coriander, citrus finish. Nice one, easy drinking.

Shaker pint draft at Lew's in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazy golden orange with a smaller white head. Nice lace is left behind on the glass. The aroma is tangerine, clementine citrus and perhaps a hint of floral. The taste is the full fruit citrus, tangerine with a nice peel bitterness and cracker malt holding it together. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and the dry clean finish.

16 oz plastic cup draft at the You Pour station at the Kansas City Airport in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is black brown with a foamy, well formed 1 inch tan head. The aroma is soft roast, cocoa, and caramel malt. The taste is the roast, caramel and cocoa malt of the nose and picks up some pine, particularly towards the back. The palate is light to medium with soft carbonation and the roast and the dry pine finish. Really drinkable and tasty. Excited to have a locally brewed Black Lager. Bonus point for sitting Comfortably at the airport gate with an excellent beer.
