You don't see the old 5% amber ale much anymore. I mean, it's an easy style to make, difficult to make it interesting. Dullish dark amber, thin head. Toasty, sweet malt, lots of crystal type notes. Moderate bitterness. It's actually the best of the 3 beers I was able to try from Rad Brewing.

Pale Amber, slight haze, medium head. Biscuity, toasty malt aroma, light hop.mild bitterness, vague hop, sort of yeasty. Not the best balance or brightness.

Opaque, thin head, light stone fruit with a sort of sweaty yeastiness. A bit phenolic, lowish bitterness.
