Bright gold, nice effervescence. Not much head, though. This is quite tart, definitely briney, lots of pickle. Better malt base means better balance than some of the other pickle beers I've had - R&B has a well-known one around here - so again this fits the mold of Bayview making competent beers, nothing special but always worth trying.

Poured from the tap @ Bayview. Opaque dull yellow with small white head. Quite chalky with light tropical hops. Too much of a yeast soup.

Poured from the tap @ Bayview. Hazy opaque yellow with minimal white head. Some decent tropical hop notes upfront, but quickly dissipates into a muted chalky finish. Meh.

Opaque, pinkish, tart. Light spice, cranberry, hint of orange. It’s all in there, for whatever that's worth.

Draught at the Festival of Lights pop-up. It was 2C so the beer never warmed up. Medium brown, toasty, mild smoke, a bit nutty. I don’t get piña or chipotle but I’m drinking outdoors and it’s not warm. Maybe chipotle back heat but barely any of it.
