Schönbuchbräu Jäger Spezial, Flasche von MEXXs, SHA. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase leicht strohiges helles Malz, blasse Zitrusfrucht, ein Hauch von Aprikose, dazu schwache herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank und für ein Export sehr leicht hellmalzig-getreidig mit blasser aber feiner zitrusfruchtiger Herbe (Hallertauer Tradition) und einem Hauch von fruchtiger Säure. Durchschnittlich rezent, schlank, fast dünn. Im Abgang blasse, schwach trockene Herbe. - Ein Export ist das nun nicht: selbst für ein Helles ist es etwas dünn im Malz und zwar delikat aber recht blaß gehopft. Bei näherer Beschäftigung gewinnt es allerdings deutlich. (23.11.2021.)

Pour it hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma straw, some malty notes. Taste easy drinkable, light bitter finish, slick feel, smooth after taste.

€-Fläschle (Dank am See! ): Pale golden, hazy, stable and creamy white head, mild to moderate sweet-bitter floral and pale-malty nose, fruity and yeasty spots underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF; slightly lingering sweet-bitter floral and pale-malty finish. More a Kellerbier than an IPL, but well balanced and well drinkable...

Bottle courtesy of Koelschtrinker - many thanks. My first 'Pale Lager - Hoppy' although I can think of a couple I've tried that could fit in this category. Pours a hazy gold, small white head but good retention. Aroma is hoppy with citrus, herbs and grass. A little dank. Taste is semi-sweet, grass, herb and floral hops, a citrus tang and moderate finish. Moderate body and a zingy carbonation on the palate which works well. Nothing special but its a decent hoppy lager.
