(Tap) very hazy, bright pale yellow color with a small white head; aroma of jam, cereal; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

Taster at Trailside Taproom, Ankeny, IA. Light brown color with a bit more foam than the previous Marto Bock. Their description is of an American Brown Ale, and I’ll go with that. Even though the nose is a big reminder of a Newcastle Brown Ale, which I’ve missed so. A nice toasted malt taste, with slight caramel that cuts right through the after taste of the bock I just had.
