Draught @ District Brew Yards, Chicago (Aug 2023). Pours murky dark brown with a very small frothy tan head that's practically just a ring in the glass, very rich rum-mocha-molasses aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter mocha taste with woodsy flavor, sweetish bourbon, thin smooth body, long woodsy coffee-bourbon finish. Smooth and potent.

16 oz. can at Tecalitlan, Chicago. Clean lager nose with a bit more malt and roast to it. Pours a proper amber color with a leggy head. Pleasing amber malt on the palate, slightly over matching the hop, but not sweet. A fine Mexican dark beer with a bit more oomph. Adding a point because there's just the smallest note of chocolate, maybe because my tongue has been scorched by their green sauce.

Very nice dark chocolate imperial stout, more bitter than sweet. Not too boozy. Good stuff

Draft at Promos Locos, Elmhurst, IL. Lovely nose of cocoa and vanilla as advertised. I also caught a coffee impression. That could be from the malt, except the mouthfeel is very smooth. Warm alcohol and taste of mainly vanilla, followed by sweet chocolate. Certainly goes great with the restaurant's enchilada molé.
