Draft on CH's last day. Nice brown property color under a thin foam ring. Coffee smell in the nose is like brand that are still twisting. Well, that's different. Strong, roasty coffee on the palate. Almost knocks out the malt on here. Coffee bitterness combined with hops to give a mild bitter punch. Really liking this version of a coffee beer, well matched to the male base.

Amber brown color in the taster, with a fine layer of foam. The nose is balanced between pom and malt, to a nice effect. Really nice taste continues that combo of strongly flavored fruit and amber malts. Then a slight edge of chocolate pops through. A really nice choice of adjunct.

Can. Pours hazy lemon yellow with a very small frothy off-white head that flops down fast, faint pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter pineapple-citrus peel taste, thin body, long citrus-pineapple finish. Decent NEIPA.
