16oz can. Toasty English malt aroma. Simple, easy going, pretty much suitable to style, more official off the hand pump I'm sure. Easy, doughy almost, brown malt tones, caramel. Not much hop balance. OK.

16oz can. Chewy and thick. Can't tell if it is the Rye or not but it seems to me there is some infection going on here. Not really that enjoyable of a beer, sort of poorly executed at least.

Tap at White Oak. Pleasant real cherry tone. Not on a Belgian level, but still a really enjoyable Lambic creature. Cherry tone is nice.

Dark amber color in a glass, a fine layer of bubbles on top. I am pretty sure I pick up brusque Northern Brewer hops from my first sniff. Kind of like dry leaves, and not very bitter. The taste has more of that kind of vegetal hop impression. Right alongside of some nice toasty malts. I have had much of a chance to get the feel of the original Anchor Steam, but I can see this as a slightly unrefined frontier beer.

Sample at GTMW 24, 8/10/24. New brewery! Brewery #2300, USA #1895, Ill #90. Hazy gold. Aroma of citrus, canned fruit cocktail. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, pale malt. Odd.

Taster #14 at Beer Under Glass. A bright golden beer color under a nice foamy head, even when poured from the can. There's bound to be a light beer smell to it. Taste is a solid kölsch style. it settles in nicely after Pollyanna's bacon maple stout, I've got to say. Thin, dry malt that cuts through the previous coating on my tongue.

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a cloudy grapefruit with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has sweet berries and creamy sweet grains with a bit of vanilla underlying. Flavor has tart berries and vanilla with sweet grains supporting.

Bottle shared by Yaniv, thanks! Pours a cloudy purple with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of berry with earthy grains and a light grass note backing. Flavor has a sweet berry and earthy grains with a bit of straw underlying.
