12 oz can from HyVee, Ankeny IA. Big white puff of foam at the start of the pour. A narrow weizen glass shows it to be very hazy, nearly white. Light beer smell, with some esters working in with the yeast. Taste is light, with prickly bubbles. A little citrus, as described, but no esters on the palate. Maybe a bit of yeast trub, since this is pretty certainly unfiltered. Effervescence carries the day. And I have to say that may have come from refermenting in the can for a few months, since I picked this up in April, and the brewer apparently went of of business in December.

Crowler shared with a few friends. Tan-black. A-roasty dk malt. T-folows, slight earthy hops.
