Bottle shared by SaltyGrog: Poured murky orange with white bubble head. Aroma is pungent fruit, lemon, dusty. Taste is tangy tart, lemon, sour lingers.

Can out the fridge @CDC Dallas. Orange sunset hazy, tall head. Soft papaya-ish nose; astringent. Juicy, bittersweet tropical, grassy & herbal bite, yeasty spice. Prickly acid, soft carb, pithy-numbing finish. Pretty good. One note away from being amazing.

Draft half pour at Vector Brewing in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a fully hazed orange yellow with a lasting one inch white foam head. Sheets of lace left on the glass as it settles. The aroma is a pleasant leather Brett with bright citrus hop, fresh and clean along with some floral. The taste is a nice blend of the citrus hop and the softly funk leather Brett. Some lingering earth and almost ginger to the back. The palate is light bodied with low carbonation and a bit of a thin mouthfeel and a bone dry finish carried by the Brett. Fun and unique beer. Tasted like the distant, younger cousin of a very fresh Orval.

Draft half pour at Vector Brewing in Dallas, Texas. The pour is mostly clear copper orange with a 1/2 inch white head. Nice, lasting, lace. The aroma is bright clove, floral, along with some lemon. The taste is the clove, the lemon, lemon rind, earth and some general dirtiness towards the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the muddled yeast clove and dirty finish. Didn't really do it for me.

Pint can from Vector back at the hotel. Plastic cup edition. Frothy, mellow gold, greasy pour. Herbally dry nose, a little steel, sourdough, medium pepper, subdued acid. Taste is sharp, herbally bittersweet, leaning a bit too honey sweet, salty, a little less than crispy, kinda not fun Aspirin finish. Nothing ugly though. Okay if super cold.

Can from Vector. Plastic cup back at the hotel. Black cola pour, dirty oatmeal head. Sweet char, heavy resin, dried tropical fruit nose. Extra resin-y cola, burnt flour, burnt onion, lingering white grapefruit pith. Medium low carbonation, thin, acidic, boozy. Bold bitterness, but it doesn't have another gear. Good, but a little too one dimensional.

Can from Vector. Plastic pint cup back at the hotel. Hazy watermelon-pink on amber brew. Watermelon ginger Fresca nose. Inviting. Taste is a whole lot of refreshing prickly pear, a spicy sweet ginger middle & a Fresca sort of watermelon sweetness, faintly vinegary, dry toast absolute stop. Medium low carb, bit of booze ugliness, a little sulfite-y. Pretty great regardless.

Wine glass @the source. Dusty brown color, sorta clear, still, tempting. Fume-y rum, spice, mellow chocolate, acid-y, chive. Taste is whiskey chocolate, a little creme, lots of raisin, lingering tamarind, a force-field of charred dry malt at the back. Not all that boozy. This isn't heavy, just deep. Great.

Jellied, opaque, honey gold pour @the source. Citrus honey, slight ginger sharpness, warming invitation. Heavy brandy & earthy honey, but good citrus & mellow acid pushes forward. Slight twang, a touch of plastic, great brandy, watered down heat, finishes off dry & thankfully not sticky. Kinda good.
