Inky black with a thin off white head that dissipates quickly. Rich coffee and chocolate with hints of molasses and earth. Warming alcohol after each sip. Very nice sipper.

12 oz goblet draft at Pint & Cork in the Shops at Wailea, Maui, Hawaii. Sounded like this was a special beer Mahalo brewed for Pint & Cork. The pour is a hazed golden yellow, filled to the brim, with a minimal white head. The aroma is a soft sour tart along with some earth and lemon. The taste is lemon citrus tart, round sourness and finishes with a lactic edge. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and the citric lactic finish. Decent.
