22 oz bottle purchased at the brewery in Blue Springs, MIssouri to go. The pour is an opaque black brown with a smallish dark khaki one inch head that falls quick. The aroma is char roast malt, cinnamon, sweet malt along and with some pine and grass towards the back. The taste is the strong roast malt, alcohol heat, cocoa cinnamon, muted malt sweetness, and a nice fresh pine in the back. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, natural carbonation, and the warming roast malt and dry grass pine finish. Cheers East Forty for being involved. Cheers to Weathered Souls Brewing, great cause and great recipe.
