On tap at Ratman's house. Pours black, with a medium, bubbly, tan head. The nose is lovely coffee, dark chocolate, mild cherry, and chicory. Dry and malty, with a pleasant bitterness. Heavy body, with a chalky, malty palate. This is a simple and quality stout.

Draft pour at the Frolic Brewing Company in Westminster, Colorado. The pour is clear golden copper with small egg white head that leaves behind nice splotchy lace. The aroma is bright citrus hops, cereal malt and a bit of resin. The taste has a nice balance of citrus hops with the pine resin, decent backbone of the cereal grain malt carries the finish. The palate is medium bodied, natural carbonation and a clean resin bitter finish. Was tasty with the pizza.
