4 oz taster at Fringe Beerworks in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is a resin grapefruit along with wheat grain. The taste is soapy sweet grapefruit with the wheat grain towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with a mouth coating and lingering grapefruit resin bitter. Tasty.

4 oz taster at Fringe Beerworks in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The pour is a hazed golden copper with a minimal white head. The aroma is faint caramel grain, not much else. The taste is crystal male, iced tea, bitter, and a bit of an off plastic character. The palate is light bodied with minimal carbonation and the plastic off flavor aftertaste. Normally like this style, but this one didn’t work for me.

4 oz taster at Fringe Beerworks in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The pour is a hazed brown black with a tight nitro creamy white head. The aroma is caramel, coffee, char, and milky cream. The aste is the caramel, coffee, char and cream of the nose nicely blended and integrated. The palate is light to medium bodied with a silky nitro mouthful and a coffee, roast and cream finish. Nice.

4 oz taster at Fringe Beerworks in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The pour is an opaque black brown with a light tan head with nice lace. The aroma is cocoa sweet, bit of cream, and roast malt. The taste is the sweet cream and roast of the nose, plus introduces a nice bright pine resin hop. As the beer warms, I get some of the sharp plastic character that the Fringe BEER had. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and a big lingering pine resin finish. Solid black IPA.
