Draft pour pint at Milepost 111. Listed as Red Rover Sour Red. Pours a dark reddish copper color with no head. Very mild aroma of dark fruits and fresh berries. Flavor closely matches, with a tart finish. Has a bit of a sour berry cider feel. Overall a tasty beer. Love the blackberry like flavor to it. Very glad I tried this. Good stuff.

From sampler tray at the brewery. Pours dirty brown with a beige head. Aroma is bready, cookie dough, licorice. Flavor is sweet and malty with flavors of dried dark fruit. Creamy mouthfeel, near full body. Damn good, really.

From sampler tray at the brewery. Hazy amber pour with an off-white head. Has a very interesting tea character in the nose and taste, but there’s also an old malty flavor that I don’t care for.

From a sampler tray at the brewery. Hazy pale gold pour with a collapsing white head. Grain, citrus in the nose. Floral, grainy flavor. Highly carbonated, light body. A little boring, but not bad.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden pour with a white head that falls after a couple minutes. Aroma is grainy, flavor is a little on the bland side; it’s dry with a hoppy bitter finish. Alcohol is pretty strong. I thought this was going to be a Belgian golden, but it’s more of an American golden. No flaws, just duller than I was expecting.

From sampler at the brewery. Black pour with brown edges and a tan head; laces a little. Aroma is like smoked salmon, taste is the same with apple added. Creamy, medium body. Super good.
