450ml bottle. Pours clear dark gold, almost amber with a small white head. Aroma is malt, faint caramel. Taste is light sweet, malt, honey, grassy hop. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. Strange marketing - the name Zhigulyoskoe wasn't established until 1936 (in 1935 this sort of beer would have been called Venskoye), the ABV is too high (should be below 4%), and there would be adjuncts (up to 25% of the malt bill) if they wanted to brew an authentic Zhigi. Overall, another lager cashing in on Soviet nostalgia. At least it isn't awful eh?
