Mild würziger Antrunk, weder mit besonderer Hopfigkeit noch mit erwähnenswerter Würzigkeit. Leicht steigende dunkle Malzigkeit, weich herb. Das Malz ist der einzig aromatische Ton, insgesamt etwas enttäuschend mild, für sich aber in Ordnung. 8/9/8/8//9

Growler at First German Ratebeer gathering at Idar Oberstein courtesy of Bierkrug. Woody/vegetal sour malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with giant head. Sweet, lightly smokey toffee malt flavor. Very tasty.

Browler at the first German local RateBeer tasting at Wasaba in Idar-Oberstein. Courtesy of shrubber85 - thanks! Cloudy brown, tan head. Aroma of charred wood. taste is burnt coffee beans, ashes, caramel. Subtle. Very nice!

Mild hopfiger Antrunk, leicht wässriger Malz-Beiton. Das Malz wird im Mittelteil stärker und wirft die Wässrigkeit so ab, leicht röstig, mittelintensiv. Anfänglich fruchtig, schnell muffig werdend, mild, wenig herb und hefig. Im späten Mittelteil etwas sauer werdend, dies setz sich im Abgang fort, zum Ausgleich wird es malzig, was die Säuerlichkeit aber nicht ganz kompensieren kann. Insgesamt zu mild, die Muffigkeit wirkt Aromen dämpfend. Wenig spritzig. Test vom 17.3.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 10,7,8,8,-,7 - 7,63
