Bottle (from Alko web). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, some herbal and mild bready tones. Flavour is grassy, herbal, bready and some sweet grany tones. Quite smooth with a nice malty sweetness in the aftertaste.

Das Veldener Volksfestbier der Hohenthanner Schlossbrauerei, Flasche von Getränke Kratzer, Dorfen. - Dunkles Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase getreidiges, satt karamelsüßes Malz, Sahnebonbons, überdeutliche Aprikosenkonfitüre und mild-aromatische herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk füllig malzig mit feiner Karamelsüße, etwas Nuß, süßem Dörrobst, zart säuerlicher Frucht. Milder rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang milde herbale Hopfenherbe. - Füllig malzaromatisches Märzen mit etwas zu deutlicher obstiger Süße und gerade noch ausreichender Hopfung. (17.7.2024.)
