330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing white head. Cautious, mellow malty, toasty grainy aroma, fruity hoppy hints of red berries, minimally soggy-dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly fruity hoppy and minimally sweet, biscuity-grainy malty, cautious hints of red and blue berries, soggy-dusty yeasty overtones; super soft, smooth palate. A bit cautious and anaemic, nice fruitiness.

Bottle@Railway, Streatham, London - mahogany brown pour with nice off white head and lacing. Sweet and toasted malty with some punchy hoppy backing, minerals, some caramel and fudge notes, earthy malty and hoppy bitterness, a nice solid hopped up brown.

Cask at Londinum at Tree Folks, Rome-Italy. Copper hazy no foam. Nose: notes of cookies, far too warm, traces of dyacetil. Mouth: malty, bitter a bit, not tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the brewpub. Murky yellow golden with white head. Yeasty, lemon, bread, sweet malts, quite herbal with almost rotten herbs in the finish, condensed milk, seaweed, light puke, cat piss. Medium sweet and light bitter. Almost medium bodied. Something’s a bit off here I think... though there’s a lot of decent notes here too.

Tap at the brewpub. Very hazy light amber with some bubbles. Lots of dry and dusty malts, caramel, cardboard, old wood, dark bread, grassy and some old dried herbs. Light sweet and medium bitter. Light bodied with no carbonation. More English than American I’d say.
