Salt, or saltiness, is a very rare feature in beer (or in any beverage, for that matter), and there is good reason for that. This one uses sea water and has fermented three times; the result is a misty orange blonde beer with snow white head and malty and fruity profile, bit apple- or pear-like, with weird salty notes and a thin, watery, insufficiently hopped finish. Points for originality but not for taste.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour with a mediumsized beige head. A bit lively when opening. Aroma is acidic fruits, some wood and mildly herbal notes with a nice citrusy underlying fresh tone to it. Flavour is very similar and rather clean. With the yeast poured in it gets very balanced with all the elements in it. A bit nutty in the finish.

Bottle 330ml.Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, herbs, seaweed, moderate yeasty, leather, keller, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet, keller, earthy, salty, seaweed. Bottle. An unclear, golden beer with a small, light beige colored head. The aroma has fruityness and some yeast, and is mostly quite uninteresting. The flavor is pretty much equally boring, some orange notes chimes in, and there’s a little bit of bitterness towards the end. There’s some salty notes in the very end. Certainly not my favorite. 121110
