Owned by
Brasserie des Abers

In 2003, the Morlaisiens Thierry and Michelle Bernard took over. They too have continuity in their ideas. They want to purify and control their precious raw material: seawater.
The brewery was closed in 2025 due to retirement. The label and products under the name Mor Braz were transfered to the Brasserie des Abers.

75cl bottle from Brittany. Drunk in the Nord. Made with seawater using "a unique and innovative process" apparently 🤔 It does have a slight salty hint to it. In the same way Adnams beers have. Pleasant enough blonde, gentle lilting sweetness, smooth palate, gentle bitterness. Not bad.

330ml bottle in Locmariaquer, Brittany. Pours a misty glowing gold, loose bubbly white head. High carb. Some salty sea air and blanche spice on the nose, continuing to taste, definitely salty hints of seaweed.. a little too dry on the close.. goes well with the location, but otherwise falling a little short.

14/6/2025. Bottle courtesy of Belen, thanks! Bit of a gusher. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, husky, buttery, cornflakes, cardboard. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Foamy carbonation. Not too good.
