Description
This daring adventure was born in 1999 in Theix near Vannes, in Morbihan (the small sea). Its creators, bakers Loïc and Goulven Cras, preferred Mor Braz (La grande mer) for their brand.
In 2003, the Morlaisiens Thierry and Michelle Bernard took over. They too have continuity in their ideas. They want to purify and control their precious raw material: seawater.
The brewery was closed in 2025 due to retirement. The label and products under the name Mor Braz were transfered to the Brasserie des Abers.

(Bottle 33 cl) Unclear, pale amber with a small, off-white head. Aroma of malt and yeast. Very light and watery body with very fruity notes of both banana and citrus albeit the label doesn’t mention any hints of this being a wheat. Jees, this is another bloody salty beer, a feature I immensely dislike in beers. Get rid of that saline touch please. Heavy sediment. 220106

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, light golden with a small head. Fruity, citrusy notes. Very light-bodied with a spicy edge and notes of citrus. Odd saline touch! Heavily sedimented. 220106

A hazy orange beer with a disappearing light brown head. The aroma is very sweet and spicy with coriander standing out. The flavor is very sweet with notes of oranges and wheat, but also hints of salt. The wheat gives it a dry finish.

An unclear dark orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is a weird mixture between apples, wood and malt. The flavor is salty and dominated by apples - this doesn’t do the trick for me.

Bottled. Orange colour, cloudy. Fruity melon aroma. Boldly malty with velvetty texture. Strangely sweet and salty with notes of both blue cheese and melon.
