Handpull cask at the brewpub in Stockport. Light copper and mostly clear with an uneven off-white head. Sweet resinous malt and tangerine peel in the aroma, although it's all reasonably muted. Sweet taste, malty and floral with notes of clove and orange peel. Spicy sweetness in the long finish. Soft to medium carbonation for a cask beer. It's a decent concoction with lots of interesting flavours, so much better than most UK cask ambers.

Stockport Beer Festival 2016. Very dark red with a crispness, but also understated as a stout, however its apple influence creates an interesting flavour and the fruit comes with a dessert sweetness to it.
