750mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Nose brings out a wonderfully effervescent funk, gentle crisp apple skins, and some champagne-like notes. Flavour is beautifully funky, with lots of red apple acidity, some champagne-like effervescence, and leather. That funk combines with the acidity in wonderful fashion. Aggressive yet elegant. Lovely.

375mL bottle, pours clear a clear copper golden, no head. Nose is full of stewed apples, treacle toffee, and brown sugar. Flavour is wonderfully decadent, with lots of stewed apples, treacle toffee, some apple core, gentle acidity, and a little molasses. There's even a little tartness in there. Not at the level of the top Quebec ice ciders, but this is really well-done.

(On tap @ Cider House, Toronto, Aug 8/19) Pours lightly haze pale yellow with basically no head. Notes of fairly sweet pear flesh as I guess is expected from Bartlett, some moderate off-dry apple notes, light funk, not a whole lot of tannic grip nor complexity, smooth through the sip and finishing fairly dry. Light to medium body with average carb. Solid stuff here, there's not much that sticks out but it's a well-made cider as one expects from West Ave and the balance is great.

(750ml bottle shared c/o Herbalist, thanks!) Pours clear bright gold with a small head. Notes of rather deep honey, baking apples, graham cracker, fruit skins, very soft spices, warming sweetness and a slight alcohol dryness, cyser profile as expected. Rather full body with very soft carbonation. Nice little cyser with a light wild edge, well-made, more some others' style than mine.

On tap at Bar Hop Brewco, pours a clear pale peachy pink, no head. Aroma brings out brings out subdued tequila barrels upfront, with even more subdued blueberries, and light acidity. Flavour brings out muted tequila and barely a trace of blueberry. The ambition here exceeds the execution. Rather disappointing.

On tap at Bar Hop Brewco, pours a clear pale blonde, no beads. Aroma brings out dry apple skins and a hint of funk. Flavour is pretty simple, with apple skins, and a hint of acidity. Simple and drinkable. OK.
