Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Hazed reddish orange-brown colour, thin off-white rim and aroma of musty overripe fruits, nail varnish, dung, funky. Taste is tart, sultanas, currants, fruity & juicy, with grain, paper, hay, straw, muck, funk and some acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying mucky & tart acidic finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle shared by Grumbo courtesy of Boris, cheers. Aroma is very strong, fruity, alcohol, varnish, pulp, red currant, peppery and fermented fruit. Very strong fruity taste, smooth and tart. Was originally difficult to drink, but got used to it. Not too bad.

1/3/2025. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours clear red/orange with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is pungent, ripe, fruity, grainy, redcurrant, cereals, hint of spice. Taste has some tart fruity sours, which becomes quite enjoyable. Moderate body, low carbonation. Interesting and likeable.

300ml bottle [courtesy of Aziz, thanks again for another rare and authentic bottle]. Cloudy, dark red colour, no head, just a handful white bubbles on top. Typical, grainy and fruity sorghum aroma, hints of cherry, dark berries, an ephemeral touch of burnt straw. Taste is sweet-ish, fruity and minimally grainy malty, notes of cherry, red berries, even some plum, some fruit acidic tartness, a minimally peppery, spicy touch. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. By way the most fruity Dolo I had so far, drinkable and refreshing - nice.
