Light brown, with a bubbly head. Caramel-toffee nose, with aged vinous fruit character. Light body, for the style. Some sweetness. Touch of phenolic harshness. Some some aged character, but has yet to fully come together.

Hazy dark amber. Has a big coffee nose. Light bitterness and a coffeeish character. Coffee pale, but where’s the ipa? Need to taste the base beer.
