Dark brown. Thin head. Big rye nose with earthy, toasty malts. This has a rich rye, toasty character. It’s almost a stout, I swear. Good stuff. Rich rye bread character, full body. Probably the best rye beer I’ve ever had, both showcasing the rye and having overall excellent quality.
