Very pale, with a nice grapey accent. Sweet grapey fruity notes up front, then it gets tart, while maintaining the nice fruit character. Good balance, nice brew.

Reddish-brown, thin head. Chill haze. Aroma is slightly musty with a mellow lacto element. Has a slight harshness in the way that the bitterness presents, but there’s some nice dark fruits in there as thin goes in the direction of a clean oud bruin. The brewer said there was brett but I’m not getting that.

Light brown, with a neat aroma of berries and minty herbs. Taste is sweet, bit of berry. Sweeter malts and mint. Decent brew, actually.

The brewery itself has a good reputation, but my bottle of porter showed me that there are some qc issues with respect to bottling. Light brown and cloudy. Aroma is a bit husky. Thin, tart, not all that exciting. The tartness just undermines everything.
