At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, opaque black color, aroma of burned rubber, tar, oak, waffle and some coconut, flavor of oak, chocolate and tar, mellow sourness, vanila aftertaste. Unusual and interesting, a bit difficult to drink.

Bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Bruna, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianco-sporco media. Al naso sentori di zucchero di canna, malto, caramello, diacetile. In bocca è estremamente corta e sbilanciata sul dolce, vuota, inconsistente. Corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione medio-leggera. Non ha nulla del corpo di una bock.

Bottle shared by ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Bruna scura, schiuma media beige, media persistenza. Al naso sentori di cioccolato, melassa, zucchero di canna. In bocca è tremendamente sbilanciata sul dolce, zuccherosa, note di cioccolata, anche leggero frumento. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione leggera. Sweet stout non significa (o non dovrebbe significare) dolcione! Da rivedere.

330ml bottle. Murky brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Wheaty, fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, baked banana, some clove. Taste is slightly sweet wheaty, fruity, notes of banana, baked banana, hints of dried fruit, raisin, a touch of pear yields badly needed freshness, cautious spicy overtones of clove; light and minimally watery, a bit anaemic overall.
