Hazy dull amber with a thin head. The aroma is light hop with a little bit of overripe peach. Spicy character, light liquorice and background caramels. A well-structured beer. Not my favourite flavours, but quite a well-made beer.

Bottle from King’s Head. Dark brown. Didn’t pour with a head. The taste is rich, full of molasses, liquorice, Vietnamese coffee...and this was when it was still cold. Lots of flavour. Liquorice and blackberries first. The body picks up a touch of oiliness late. Oh hell yes, great effort from a new Chinese microbrewery.
