Tap @ Pudong brewpub. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, grain, banana and other sweet fruit. Taste is wheat, yeast, sweet fruit. Thin body, soft carbonation. Seems rather tasteless / watery compared to the original. 150112

Dark cloudy tan colour - not really dunkel at all. Thin head. Yeasty aroma with lots of bready malts. Yeasty character, lacks Germanic cleanliness. Maybe a hint of dark fruit in there. A decent body but by no means does this compare with Munich.

Cloudy straw. Some malt, but decent yeast character. Thin, a little yeasty. Some malt character. A little acidity, some off-notes. This one really doesn’t deliver on the promise of Munich.

Very hazy straw. Full head. Smells like Paulaner with yeast, banana and a little bit of malt. Big fresh malts on the palate. Good balanced yeast character, some banana. Quality wheat.
