Very pale green. Aroma is light and pearlike. Tart-dry palate with med fruitiness and a fair bit of acidity late. Simple, bordering on mainstream. As it warms a sour off-note comes through that just ruins this.

Bottle big thanks to Wigman DW, split on split on the 300kph tasting on Train 9116 to Brussels, 26/04/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a good sized tan head. Nose carries roast malt, oats, light chocolate. Taste comprises roast malt, chocolate, dark toffee, background hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, bitter roast in the finish. A very tasty porter for 4%!

Bottled. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and grain. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grain, leading to a bitter finish.

Pours deep amber with a fading head.Nose shows caramel, toasty malt and soft floral hops. Not too bad, a little faint though.Flavours introduce ginger and astringent lemon to the mix, ruining what could have been a pleasant, malty beer.Needs more carbonation.

Pours amber with a small, fading head.Nose shows sweet clean malt, grassy, spicy hops and faint vegetal notes.Flavours are similarly plain, with spicy hops and sweet light malt the main characters, along with some cardboard notes.Body is suitably light.

Pours dark amber with a small fading head.Nose shows caramel with very soft spicy notes in the background. Very faint aroma.Flavours are very similar; caramel and soft bready malt, along with a little honey.Could use more carbonation.Pretty devoid of hops seeing as they call this an American amber ale.
