Tap at KEG. Black pour with an off-white head. Nose is intense chocolate, cocoa powder, some coffee, lactose and booze with a hint of cherries and marzipan. Taste brings almost the same notes, but not as intense as the aroma: there’s chocolate, coffee and cocoa powder with the cherries making an appearance as well. Closes with a chocolatey, slightly roasty finish, has a light body, which is in fact too light and soft carbonation. Apart from the thin body this is a nice beer.

Can at home. Pours opaque reddish orange with a finger wide white head. Nose is strawberry, chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Taste is sweet upfront, showing chocalte, vanilla and strawberry, then there’s some tartness in there as well. The finish is kinda tart, but not overwhelmingly and also shows sweet notes. It took me almost an hour to finish this, and by the end it become a tad boozy. Ligh to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Fun.

Tap at Kraft, courtesy of the Beerselection crew, thanks a lot! Semi opaque golden pour with a white head. Nose is light esters, spruce, grains. Taste is tart and spicy upfront, opens with esters and then there’s loads of spruce, spicy and resinous. The finish is tart and pretty salty. Light bodied with soft to average carbonation. Easy and refreshing.

Tap at Kraft, courtesy of the brewers (or someone shared this with me? Dunno). Amugy sem nagyon jegyzetelgettem ezt sem, csak pontoztam, meg folirtam hogy kurva sok citra es cukorka. Igazi szakertovel van dolgunk ugy latszik.

Can at home, Christmas gift from my family. Pours opaque copper with a long lasting white head. Nose is herbal-grassy, somewhat fruity hops and faint caramel malts. Taste is herbal upfront, then some caramel malts join the party, finishing off with fruity, somewhat bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied with average carbo, easy to drink. Solid effort at combining a classic style with new-wave additions.

Can at home, koszi Kini! Pours burgundy with no head. Nose is tart berry notey and a sweet sugary candy touch. Taste is sweet and tart, it’s fruity and candy-ish upfront, more sweetness first off and then closes with a tart and dry finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. I get the idea but it just doesnt work as good as it sounds.

Can shared at MONYO. Pours weird pulpy orange with thin white head. Nose is rotyi fruits, a bit fingszagú, fermented fruity character. Not particularly inviting tbh. Taste is better tho, sweet fruity, mainly led by mango and raspberries with a lactose-y touch. Closes with sweet fruity finish and has a light to medium creamy body and soft carbonation. Kinda meh, but definitely tastes better than anticipated based on the aroma.

Can at home, koszi Kini! Pours opaque copper with an off-white head. Nose is pine, and frankly I cant tell the hops and spruce apart, it might be any of those. It also showed fruity and honey characteristics, but rather vaguely. (Senki nem fogja ezt erteni, de nagyon hasonlit az illata a First alap IPAjahoz, csak ertelemszeruen kellemesebb annal. Mindenesetre erdekes.) Taste is much less bitter than expected, showing notes of spruce and resin, this latter rather vaguely. There’s also floral notes, some honey and earthy-herbal bitterness. Closes with a bittersweet finish, it has a light to medium body and soft(er than expected) carbonation. What I expected was a full-on west coast madness enhanced by the spruce tips, but this is rather an old school English IPA with some piny character. Not quite what I thought it was gonna be, but a decent beer nevertheless.

Can shared at Zozo’s. Pours opaque golden with a white head. Nose is nice fruit-forward, somewhat floral tea, showing notes of peach and vanilla with herbal touches, nicely integrated into the base beer. The taste follows the aroma and is led by the fruity tea and light hops. Light bodied with soft to average carbonation, easy to drink and pretty refreshing. Nicely balanced and rounded, it definitely works.

Can shared at Zozo's. Pours hazy yellowish golden with a white head. It's a straightforwartd, no-nonsense NEIPA, with a clean, tropical fruity, candy-like sweetness both in aroma and taste with just a hint of bitterness to it. I usually find it hard to analyze these beers as they might not be overcomplicated, but they don't need to be. This one's no exception either, simple but great and very much to my liking.
