Appearance- dark amber, with a giant foamy head of 1-2 hands... it quite quickly settles down to 1 finger. Aroma- caramel malt, brown bread, tinge of vanilla and orange, dark fruits. Taste- fruitcake, toffee and caramel, nutty malty characteristics, fluffy bready malt, dark fruits, fizzy mouthfeel, short sweet caramelly finish.

On tap at Galbraith’s. Pours orange gold. Biscuit, lemon, gooseberry, orange. The first tasting note for a fresh hop beer should not be biscuit. Disappointed.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Kiwi can from the Wingman. Hazy yellow - gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate with reasonable carbonation. Floral sweetness with mild pineapple. Dry floral fruity finish. Doesn’t look like or taste like a sweet stout. Amusing.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Wingman for this Kiwi can. Opaque brown beer, good pale tan head. Airy palate, modest fine carbonation. Sweetish dark malts, mild malt cream. Raspberry crush well integrated. Light finish. An amusing if simple dessert stout.
