On tap at a restaurant. Pours golden without head. Pine, grapefruit, lemon, a horde of sweet peaches at the end. Biting bitterness to begin with, but that sweet peach cancels it out in the aftertaste. Interesting.

On tap at Vultures Lane. Aroma is tart lime, little floral character and a subtle wheat note. Flavour is lots of tart lime, lots of floral perfume stuff going on and a savoury salty bread note too. Aroma is quite understated, and the flavour, whilst much stronger, is a little muddy and confused. Nice, but needs a little bit of a rethink.

On tap at Vultures Lane. Pours black with no head. Aroma is savoury coffee. Flavour is the same with nice bitter coffee and I like the smoothness from the oats. Little too bitter in the after taste, which is a shame.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Aroma is perfect. Just white chocolate and sweet raspberry, this is my perfect dessert. Flavour is some raspberry, a little vanilla and some coffee in the finish. Ultimately the flavour is not as big as the aroma and that’s a disappointment. An excellent experiment nonetheless.

On tap at 16 Tun. Pours a beautifully purpley red. Aroma is subtle but all sweet blueberry jam. Flavour has the blueberries, with plenty of salt to stop any oversweetness. Very good.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Aroma is raspberry and sweet vanilla and a little white chocolate. Flavour is slightly less well balanced, with lots of raspberry and a little vanilla. Some chocolate character at the end. Beautiful.

Pint at Vulture’s Lane. Dark with no head. There’s plenty of wheat and an extremely tropical finish. Lots and lots of mango. Really nice.
