On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Pours really pale with a good head. Belgian yeast, lemon, bread, something herbal, little chalky sugar stuff. Pretty tasty, and fairly unusual.

Bottle. Clear copper with a white head. Aroma of kumquat, biscuit, mango and pine sap. Brooding. 7+ Lighter bodied than suggested by the aroma. Not quite as sweet either, with tenor register citrus, light tropical fruit and peach, just a little pine. Some blackcurrant. Moderate bitterness. Good, although the mismatch between heavy, "dank" aroma and much lighter palate and flavours is curious.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a light tan head that’s soon a coat. Aroma of mild roast, caramel, bread, milk chocolate. Medium to full bodied, lowish carbonation. Rich but not terribly sweet with light roasted malt, firm bread and lightly spiced bitterness at the drying finish. Chocolate and caramel are accents. I suppose it’s slightly salty (and ashy) there, but there’s nothing weird about it. Which would be disappointing except that it’s pretty damned good.

At a tasting, thanks, stable bubbly of white head, light hazy very deep orange color, aroma of hay, manure and honey, flavor of jam, nuts, hay and manure, unpleasant sourness, a touch coarse sourness. Old and not good.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Aroma is bitter hops, a little sweet honey and a touch of acidity. Flavour is quite creamy up front, with the sweet honey making a brief appearance and an acidic vegetal finish. Full and thick in the mouth. Not great.
