Færder Mikrobryggeri ble etablert i september 2013 og lanserte ølet høsten 2014. Sent i 2022 ble det kjent at Færder ville gi seg og i februar 2023 ble bryggeriet solgt til Fjordfolk Mikrobryggeri. Tappelinje og tanker ble flyttet til Sandefjord og flere av Færder-ølene vil fortsatt bli brygget, men nå av Fjordfolk i Sandefjord.
From tap Kverneriet, Majorstua, with JFE and Camilla 02.06.23 after finishing the three day introductory course to R at UiO. Clear dark straw colour. Fine and balnced aroma and taste of sett pale malt, crustsl malt, apricot and various citrus. Good drinkability.
Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Hazy deep ambery colour with a small white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, some floral tones with mild floral tones. Flavour is fruity, caramelly and a bit toffeeish tones with some wooden elements.
330 ml bottle, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops.
