Stacked like a certified man-pile. Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a deep dark chocolate body with dark tan edges and supporting a thin ring of tan bubbles. The aroma offers up inviting clouds of reduced molasses and caramel like sugars as well as boozy deep dark chocolate and then a hot hit of boozy barrel character at the end of the draw. The taste is slick and slippery with richness. I get malt sweetened and molasses sweetened dark chocolate heading into a soft simmering boozy spirit character. Toward the finish a molasses sweetness rises up a tad to meet the dark chocolate creating further depth.

Keg at CBJ, 15/03/24. Black with a khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, hazelnut, molasses, dark malts, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate, nutty, toffee, toasted brown sugars, mellow roast, light charr, dark fruit rinds. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Decent.
