You’re probably here for the stouts, that’s what we are most known for. There’s no line we won’t cross in that area, and we appreciate the love we receive for our interpretations of that style. With beer, you’re always learning, experimenting, and tweaking something. We consider our beers forward thinking, and we don’t always brew to style. Somehow we won a gold medal for our pilsner though, so we can follow the rules if we want to.
We don’t intend on being a one-note brewery and are constantly pushing ourselves to do more. At any given time our tap list will feature a variety of styles, stouts, and IPAs being more common, but we make a lot of sours and porters as well. We don’t serve flights but do have 5oz. pours. Our staff is very knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect beer for your taste.

16 oz can from Total Wine. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow color with a bright white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Light pilsner malt aroma. Likewise, the flavor is a light lager with a mellow pilsner malt bite and a slightly herbal, dry finish. Good example of the style. Light body and medium carbonation. Light bitterness. Very refreshing.

On tap at Craft Beer Junction, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of cinnamon, hazelnuts, and coffee in good balance. Flavour is rich and complex, with lots of hazelnuts, coffee, butterscotch and a hint of cinnamon. Balanced, complex and rich. Excellent.

Interesting. Nose is medium strength hoppy, plenty of citrus, a little resin. Flavor tends more toward citrus and locker room/sweat sock, with a finish that is all grapefruit rind/pith bitterness. Creamy almost milky body which is kinda weird really. Convincing as an 8% beer, I mean, surprising. It drank ok.

Short tulip @GB's with Jay. Almost flat, inky black on brown pour. Condensed milk, coconut creme, sweet chocolate nose. Taste is charred coconut, coconut fat, condensed milk, heavy cream, faint toasty bitterness, rum? Mostly flat, just boozy enough. Too sweet but delicious.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers team. Pours clear deep brown with a slight, foamy tan head. Big sweet flavour, loads of stewed berries, dark malts, toasted caramel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more berries, thick dark malts. Really damn good stuff.

Bittle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A super thick black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, sticky brown sugars, boozy sherry, woody vanilla, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet medium sweet, oily, vanilla, sherry, dark sherry, dried fruit, sticky pancake batter, leathrty. Intense.
