Undated can drunk 3/3/25.
Clear, bright, lighter amber. Large, off-white head, strong retention.
Toasted malt is rather heavy, though theres pleasant enough fruitiness and a light caramel accent. Clean. Low hopping.
Toasted malt continues strongly in the mouth and gets husky on account of the ridiculously thin body. This is problematically thin. It is headed for the drain.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is dank citrus hops pine and caramel malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel malts pine citrus hops.

On tap at the 1912 taproom. Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces thickly. Aroma has earthy dark grains with a hint of roast and a grass bite supporting. Flavor has grass and a light pine with a bit of thin dark grains backing.

32oz crowler pours with a hazy deep gold body that supports a nice off white head of foam. The aroma offers up grapefruit and lime zest and then a bit of under ripe pineapple. The taste is similar with fairly bright and fully bitter grapefruit and lime zest blended with a bit of grapefruit juice. To midway it picks up a sliver of guava and floral hops. This is solidly bitter hopped and lacking the balance to ground the spikes of hop bitterness.

6.9
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

32oz crowler pours with a clear copper gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up floral and citrus hops as well as a bit of herbal hoppiness leading to candied tangelo. The taste delivers bitter floral and vaguely herbal hops with a moderate degree of juicy orange and tangelo citrus hoppiness. It picks up thin sweet notes fruity esters, candied citrus and even a soapy like sensation. This isn't working all that well as the bitterness is sharp, almost to the point of being tart, with little else to counter or balance this other than semi off flavors. (Rating from Sept. 2019)

32oz crowler pours with a clear copper body that supports a nice light tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up snippets of orange, clementine, grapefruit and a faint hit of mango. The taste delivers juicy orange and clementine and a bit of tangelo flowing into some bitter grapefruit and cranberry like hoppiness. Decent. The body is a little thin and the hops and faint fruity esters are a tad sweet and slippery.

32oz crowler pours with a nice dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, vague spicy hops and dark roasted malts. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of chocolate, dark roasted malts and bitter spicy to faintly grapefruit like hoppiness. It picks up a little sweet molasses toward the finish that mixes well with the dark roasted malts. Nice stuff.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep gold to copper body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting blend of citrus and floral hops. The taste delivers grassy to citrus hop bitterness with a smattering of citrus hop juicy flavor and floral hop flavor. It picks up a thin spicy onion like bitter hoppiness wrapped around the floral hop notes into the finish. Nice IPA.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a somewhat hazy gold body that supports a near white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up citrusy orange, tangelo and some grapefruit with a bit of mango deep in the background. The taste delivers juicy and tangy tangelo and orange with slivers of mango and cantaloupe. The taste is largely citrus with pleasing hop bitterness and some fruity hop flavor. It's working well.
