Description
Tri Martolod (Three sailors in Breton) is a traditional Breton song. It is in homage to this song that the first Artisanal Cooperative Brewery Tri Martolod was born. Tri Martolod was created in 1999 in Bénodet and launched the first traditional Breton Pils. A cooperative company from its inception, Tri Martolod has always favored people and has retained its independence from the giants of the market. Since May 2008, the Tri Martolod brewery has moved to Concarneau to the new business area of Colguen.

Hazy blond color. It has some hay flavor, the mouthfeel is also medium-round for a Pilsner, and it has an average bitterness. Very poor overall.

Nice mahogany color. It’s an ordinary Ale, with a sweetish chocolate character, and low bitterness, but not bad.

A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet spicy, while the flavor is sweet malty, with a dry hoppy end.

Yellowish head, fast gone, opaque red-brown beer. Chocolate & fresh pipe tobacco; bit bready nose. Again chocolate taste, sweet with a bitter backlash, but quite nice really. In the finish even a bitter sourish touch. Malty character without the "black barley" stamp often found in French/Brittany brune. Bit powdery MF, medium bodied, slightly thinner finish. Nice brown, sweeter than most here.
