Mont Beer Scottish Ruby Ale, vom Faß als Teil eines Sampler trays im Mont Beer, Sokcho. - Fein schokoladig-karamelliges Malz, Bairisch-Blockmalz-Süße, nur ganz leichte Hopfung. Im Abgang schön runde Malzbittere und perfekt darauf abgestimmte mild hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Schön malziges Scottish Ale, quasi Bairisch Blockmalz in Bierform. (13.9.2024.)

Mont Beer Feel Weizen, vom Faß als Teil eines Sampler trays im Mont Beer, Sokcho. - In der Nase viel Banana und Kaugummi sowie zarte säuerliche Frucht. - Im Geschmack feine Weizenmalzigkeit mit leichter Vanillesüße. Spritzig, etwas dünn. Arg schwach gehopft. - Sortentypisches aber ziemlich schematisches Weizen. (13.9.2024.)

Draught at K-Beer festival, Seoul. Not so cloudy, black colored. AROMA- quite fruity - elderberries, cherries; coffee, a bit peat and earthy. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity sour, chocolate, coffee, caramel, elderberries, cherries, earthy. Medium bodied. Tasty.

(Bottle) Pours clear mid brown with tan head. Interesting pleasant aroma of caramel, with maple and fruity notes. Body seems light at first but develops some pleasant slickness. Good bright carbonation. Unusual and pleasant taste with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. There’s caramel and maple, some darker toffee notes and fruity tangy flavours. Very drinkable.

(On tap) Black with small tan head. Aroma of roast grain, with coffee and dark chocolate notes. Medium body, modest carbonation. Taste of dark roast malt, hints of burnt sugar. Ok, but a bit too restrained.

(On tap) Murky amber with small white head. Aroma with pine and grapefruit notes. Nice mouthfeel. Medium body. Bright and soft carbonation. Pleasant slightly tart start. Biscuity malt overlaid with tangy fruit. Some fairly restrained but pleasant hoppy bitterness in finish. Nice rather restrained IPA.

(On tap) Cloudy golden. Tiny white head. Peach and banana aroma. Medium body, lovely soft carbonation. Taste is peach and banana. No bitterness. Very nice.
