Description
Moulins d'Ascq beers have all come from organic farming since the brewery was created in 1999. 100% of the raw materials used in the design of the recipes are certified organic and produced with respect for the environment.

It takes an average of five weeks to make our beers. They are neither pasteurized nor filtered in order to best preserve their aromas. Their fine bubbles are natural thanks to a refermentation in the bottle. These are beers brewed with respect for tradition, high fermentation and Belgian inspiration.

Orange body, nice big beige head.Faint aroma of malts. Taste is a soft mix of malts, some wood notes. Dry finish. Nice to drink and rather unintrusive, would pair well with a stronger flavoured meal of dark meat or oily vegetables.

Very nice head and body ratio in a chalice, yellow colour. Aroma of burnt malts, cardboard, ash, hops. Taste is a mix of grass, hay, barnyard funk, cool malts. Like water from a barn, in a good way.

Foggy white-yellow body and a large but not very solid head. Very little aroma, some lemon, some coriander. Taste is a thick mix of leather and hops, like a dark wheat if you will. Bone dry finish. Something different for a witbier, at least.

Corked bottle from Naturalia CNIT Défense, Paris
Hazy blond color. The aroma is mild, sourish, a bit citrusy and earthy, mustard, very light plastic and funkyness. Medium to weak body; light malt flavor, with a pleasant light sourness and astringency. The final is light, citrusy and earthy.
I’m not sure if all this is wanted, but it’s quite pleasant actually.
