Hazy, dullish amber. A bit of rye, some banana and phenol from the weizen yeast…the little chewiness at the end…definitely hitting the right notes for the style.

Very dark. Nitro head. Chocolatey, balanced, mild. Good stout. I look forward to trying this on CO2, though. I feel the hop will come out a bit better.

Okay, has a dull appearance. But nice lacing. Malts are a touch thick, bitterness moderate and while they use Nelson and I7 in this, there isn’t nearly enough hop expression for me. So it’s just okay - but plus for the abv to not be too harsh.

Smoked, oak-aged doppelbock. Bright amber. Not much head. Sweet, a bit sticky actually. Light beech smoke and a fairly strong impact from the American oak tannins. They needed that barrel to bring a sense of balance to a sticky doppelbock.

Draft pour pint at Valley House Brewing, which appears to be one of the dozen breweries involved in this recipe brewed over at Watts. Gentle cloudiness, bright glowing golden pour, plenty of foam head. Orange juicy hop aroma, some mixed citrus, a steady grain on the nose to pair. Quite bitter for an otherwise juicy IPA. Biting citrus fruit with a crisp linger. Dusty grains, gritty orange tablet. Intense IPA I'd say for what looked both in the glass and on the menu as a gentle and easy drinking IPA. Not bad.

12 oz can after trying many times over the years. Enjoyed straight from the can. Crisp front, cool constant, pils like grain with a fluent cream corn. Straw grain nose with more corn. Flavorful kolsch with a bitter side to it. Sharp palate. Layered ale that definitely screams lager to me, butnits flavorful, thicker bodied, and enjoyable. Pretty good.
