Description

Amber with a frothy, off-white head. Lebkuchen spice aroma. Indistinct fruitiness. Mildly bitter. Lingering spice. Touch watery at end. Monotone.

Amber with a light haze. Aroma promises apples, earthy dark bread, caramel. Taste is mildly bitter with fruity undertones. Medium-bodied, aggressive carbonation that I chose to let fizz away. Ok.

Bottle from Brin de Paille Colmar. Golden colour, mid sized white head. Pleasant malty base, good fruity and slightly bitter hops. Well balanced.

Muddy yellow-ochre beer with 3 seconds of head; almost still. Very neutral nose. Graindust, ever so slightly metallic. Lightly sourish flavour surrounding almost sweet malts, grains. Bit floral. Light body, undercarbonated. A good point for trying. Keep trying, I'd say. Big thanks to Angie for bringing!

Bottle thanks to Alex. Dark golden to light amber with almost beige head. Caramel malts, dusty grain husks, earthy, paper, nice amount of smoke, wood. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. A bit of everything, not too bad.

Bottle at home. Slight hazy amber with light beige head. Brown bread, flowery, light spicy yeast, apple, cloves, light herbs, Thai spices, light lime leaves, toffee, galangal. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Nowhere near an IPA. Not too great overall.
