Near black. The aroma is quite molassesy, maybe a bit of caramel as well. The body is a bit thin, but again has molasses dark sugar notes, and some residual sweetness. Just not the body to go with it. A bit of caramel/nut in there but it's not super complex. Still, I think I'd take this stout as another example of the solid brewing in the Bajo region. Will need to explore more.

Poured from 355mL bottle (cons. pref. 25 Nov 20 - presumably the bb date). Hazy copper brown with off white head. Medium malt backbone with loads of mild citrus and resin hops, alcohol mostly hidden. Comes together decently.

12 oz bottle poured, picked up at TaconTenedor. Last remaining bottle from the incredible trip to Playa Del Carmen. A cola brown pour, a lighter complexion than the typical stout. Active tan fizz head. Dry cocoa throughout. Smooth stout, and flavorful. A slight nutty grain here. Not really what I expected from this stout. Better for sure. Enjoyed this.

12 oz bottle poured, picked up from TaconTendor, Playa Del Carmen. Really enjoyed the IPA, do the imperial really pressured my interest. A fresh citrus fruit aroma. Interesting, true nose here. Quite the hazy appearance to this too. Surprised. Quite a juicy look. Long lasting foam head. Thick body, grapefruit bitterness. Lemon, grapefruit, orange. Surprisingly good imperial offering from these guys. Looking forward to continue sampling the brews.

12 oz bottle at Tacontendor, Playa Del Carmen. Beautiful bottle, beautiful pour. Thick, cloudy golden orange pour. Tons of rocky foam head. Tons of rich malt, and orange like hops on the nose. American IPA reminder, much more so than previous examples down here. Labeled as an IPA, resting in imperial territory, but drinks very smooth and refreshing. Some citrus fruit, followed by a peel bitterness. Some leafy hop quality as well. Quite the enjoyable brew here.

Decent, though more like an English pale ale. Decent malt complex. Orange pour with good head and lacing. Some citrus. Light tangy finish. Bottle pour at Yucatan craft beer festival. These guys have awesome labels.

Pretty good for an amber ale. Good malt complex here, like their other beers. Amber pour with decent head and lacing. Light bitter raw barley finish, also light citrus. Light copper. Tap at Yucatan craft beer festival.

This is really nice for style. Light subtle citrus and good malt complex. Comes together well. Hops are fresh even though it’s more on the British side of things. Pours hazy orange with good head and lacing. Light bittersweet finish. Bottle pour at Yucatan craft beer festival.
