Poured from the tap. Clear pale blonde with small white head. Bland macro lager. They serve it with a lime and compare it with Corona - enough said.

Straw colour and just a slight haze. Thick head. The aroma is classic hefeweizen with mellow banana and a bit of clove. The yeast character is clean on the palate - banana, slight ester, no bullshit. The malts aren’t quite there, medium sweet and not especially wheaty. Comes across more like a kristallweizen really. Not a bad effort at all, it’s a tough style to make well.

Hazy, thick head, has some mild bubblegum on the nose. Off dry, mellow bitterness. So it’s not bad. But the bubblegum ain't right.

Hazy, thin head, pale. Well it certainly has lots of citra…it’s all allium and some sticky malts.

Amber, medium head. The malts are a bit chewy, and the hops piney with some orange marmalade notes. Decent West Coast IPA.

Dark brown, nitro head. Light chocolate character, buttery, decent bitterness but wtf is with the butter. We all using ringwood yeast here in Alberni?
