Description
We are.. An independent 6 barrel craft microbrewery situated in Mold, North Wales We love.. To brew modern day beer for modern day beer drinkers – Contemporary and not-so-contemporary beers alike. We like to brew new beers all the time alongside our three core beers. We started.. brewing commercially in the summer of 2016 – Although we’ve been formulating and experimenting with recipes since 2014.

Brewery later went on to reinvent itself as Loka Polly (now Polly's Brew Co) with a more experimental focus on modern craft beer.

Cask @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours a misty gold, thin white head. Aroma of vibrant tropical hop. Taste is smooth with good exotics, peach, mango, citrus.. much hoppier than expected. I can imagine this really coming alive on keg. Great stuff.

Yellow, very hazy, dense thin white head, some lacing (marked as unfined on clip)
Aroma of dull lemon zest hop, light nose
Taste of light lemon, slightly spicy hops in there, very light malt, lemon zest builds a little with the drinking
Palate - Medium body, creamy texture. Finish a bit over dry, more bitter dull lemon zest in the tail
Overall - Expected a bit more flavour as it was unfined....average

Cask @ Salopian Bar. Pours black, creamy mocha head. Aroma of coffee roast and bitter dark chocolate. Similar impressions on the taste with some light caramel hints, not getting a huge amount of Sorachi although it is there. Surprisingly flavoursome for the strength. Good stuff.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Leicester Beer festival, 11/3/2017. Copper in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Citrus hop, brown sugar and marmalade aroma. Flavour had slightly bready malts, more fruit, and some caramel before a dryish finish. A good beer.
