Couple a pints at the Angel, Kelvedon. Clear brown beer?! So much for Pale Ale then. Little off white head. Pretty malty, no surprise given it’s colour. Tad dry. A little orange hop provides a semblance of balance. Semi dry finish. Quaffable if utterly standard bitter. I’m not at all anal about beer styles but calling this an IPA is laughable.
