Hazy reddish brown color, thick head fades quickly. On the mellow side for a barleywine. Thinner toast and wood flavor than a typical barleywine. A little sweet maltiness underneath. Dry, alcohol finish.

On tap-tight retaining offwhite-gold. A-nice orange-citrus, some grain. T-citrus, but its overtaken by an astringency. Not overwhelming but distracting.
